- Anand Bhavan: Anand Bhavan is associated with Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru.
- It was the residence of Nehru family which has been transformed into museum, related with Nehru family.
- It was bought by Motilal Nehru and is situated at Prayagraj city of Uttar Pradesh.
- It was donated to Government of India by Smt Indira Gandhi, the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru.
- Jawahar Planetarium is situated besides Anand Bhavan. Jawahar Planetarium is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund.
- Anand Bhavan was bought by Motilal Nehru in 1930.
- Swaraj Bhavan: Sawarj Bhavan is associated with Nehru family (Motilal Nehru) and is situated in the Prayagraj of Uttar Pradesh.
- It was the residence of Nehru Family till 1930.
- In 1930 Swaraj Bhavan was transformed into the local Headquarters of Indian National Congress and Nehru Family was shifted to Anand Bhavan.
- It is now operational as a museum which is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund.
- Teen Murti Bhavan: Teen Murti Bhavan was associated with first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru.
- It is situated at New Delhi and was built in 1930 as a residence of the Commander-in-Chief of British Indian Army.
- As we know that winter Capital of British India was Delhi and summer Capital was Shimla. Here it is to be noted that before Delhi, Calcutta was the Capital of British India.
- In 1911 it was decided by the British to shift their winter Capital from Calcutta to Delhi. Many buildings were built in Delhi to accommodate various institution and residence of the British officials in Delhi.
- Teen Murti Bhavan was one among them which was built in 1930 to serve as the winter Headquarters and Residence of the Commander-in-Chief of the British Indian Army.
- After independence Teen Murti Bhavan was transformed into official residence of Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the British Indian Army who was renamed as Supreme Commander of all British forces remaining in India and Pakistan (Auchinleck) was shifted to another place.
- After death of Jawaharlal Nehru it was converted into National Memorial. It houses office of Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund and Nehru Memorial Museum and Library.
- Bardoli: It is associated with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister of India.
- Bardoli is a town in Surat district of Gujarat. This place is famous for Bardoli Satyagraha in 1928.
- It was during Bardoli Satyagraha Sardar Patel was given title of ‘Sardar’ by the Indian woman.
- It was during 1925 Bardoli Taluka was hit by flood and famine due to which life of peoples especially farmers becomes miserable.
- Farmers were hit hard financially as their crops were destroyed due to flood.
- In this condition despite of helping farmers Bombay Province hike the tax rate by 22 %.
- This unjust behaviour of government sent resentment among farmers.
- Civic groups and Farmers pleaded through petitions and appeals, still government was in no mood of helping farmers.
- Farmers invited Sardar Patel to launch movement against unjust hike of tax rate.
- Farmers under the leadership of Sardar Patel have launched the movement in a unique way.
- They pledged not to pay taxes, and also demotivated others not to pay taxes to government.
- Government tries to suppress the movement by ordering to confiscate the land and property of farmers who are not willing to pay taxes.
- However this order was resisted by the farmers by silently vacating whole village overnight to another place.
- Government feared about some unseen circumstances ordered Maxwell-Broomfield Commission. This Commission reduced the tax rate to about 6 %.
- Belur Math: It is associated with Rama Krishna Paramhansa and his chief disciple Swami Vivekananda.

- Basically it is the Headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission.

- Kapilvastu: It is associated with Gautam Buddha.
- Kapilvastu was capital of Shakyas clan.
- Accordding to Buddhist texts Lord Buddha lived his childhood and spent 29 years of his life at Kapilvastu.
- Some Archaeologists believes that the ancient city of Kapilvastu was at present day Tilaura Kot in Kapilvastu district of Nepal.
- While some other Archaeologists claims that Kapilvastu was at present day Piprahwa in Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
- Kushinagar: It is associated with Gautam Buddha.
- It is situated in the Kushinagar district of the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh.
- It is the place where lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana (Death).
- Kushinagar is a renowned Buddhist pilgrimage town with numerous monasteries and stupas.
- In the post Buddha period the present Kushinagar was identified as Kushinara which was the Capital of Mallas Mahajanpad, one among the sixteen Mahajanpads of the 6th century BCE.
- The modern day Kushinagar was came into prominence by Archaeological excavations under British raj.
- Lumbini: It is associated with Gautam Buddha.
- It is the Buddha’s Birth place and a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal.
- Accordding to Buddhist texts Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhart Gautam (Lord Buddha) in 563 BCE in Lumbini.
